This game was made in a month and submitted to the boss rush game jam 2025. The theme of the jam was 'spin,' and the entire arena was designed to reflect this concept.

The game uses Playroom invite system. Just share the link of you current party to get people in.

Welcome to the heart of darkness—Vorgrim's lair.
Teamed up with three skilled and trustworthy companions, you have taken the bounty from the guild board.
Now, it is up to your team to put an end to the Curse Devourer Lich’s reign before it consumes everything in its path.

CONTROLS :

  • Use mouse left button to move and QWER/AZER keys to cast spells.
  • You can revive an ally by standing still over them for a sufficient amount of time.

ROLES AND SPELLS :

Tank:

  • Q : You call upon your paladin's power to protect an ally. For a brief period, any damage they would take is instead redirected to you.
  • W : You leap to an ally’s side, positioning yourself to intercept the danger.
  • E : Your shield transforms, taking on the essence of the corresponding element to absorb damage from that element.
  • R : Create a protective aura around nearby allies, rendering them immune to all damage while the effect is active.

Heal:

  • Q : Summon an ephemeral healing rune, when an ally touches it, they will regain some health.
  • W : Create a healing aura that restores health to all nearby allies.
  • E : Exctract curse from an ally. While active, you can exorcise the curse by directly touching it.
  • R : Revert time and restore the health of all players to a previous state.

Mage:

  • Q : Cast a fireball, with increased potency when channeled from a magic rune.
  • W : Place a light magic rune on the ground; recast it to consume rune and instantly dash to its location.
  • E : Place a dark magic rune on the ground; recast it to consume rune and instantly dash to its location.
  • R : Create a line of magic energy between your active runes, multiply any fireball passing through.

Melee:

  • Q : Swing your swords in front of you, each strike growing stronger. Moving interupt your attack.
  • W : Execute a swift parry. If successful, it nullifies damage and resets the 'Q' cool-down.
  • E : Hurl a chain at an enemy then pull it to dash to its location.
  • R : Unleash a powerful tornado slash as you propel yourself through enemies.

(Spoiler) A little help from the guild to defeat Vorgrim :

  • Runes on the left charge up as the boss take damage, reaching a full charge will push it to its last limits.
  • Keep an eye on the crystal in the top right corner to predict upcoming large AOE attacks.
  • The tank must shield all players during global AOE events.
  • Thorn bubbles should be soaked by the tank to mitigate damage.
  • The boss will randomly curse players, the healer must use their dispel ability to remove it.
  • Bombs must be absorbed by the tank using the correct elemental resistance.
  • During the Flame phase, any damage received will cause you to become a bomb.
  • During the Air phase, walking charges electricity; if too much builds up, it will discharge as a powerful thunder strike.
  • During the Earth phase, debris will appear on the ground. Stepping on it will reduce your movement speed.
  • The Tank doesn’t deal damage but should focus on absorbing the boss's attacks and supporting others.
      Use your ultimate (R) for large area damage, such as global AOE, when necessary.
  • The Healer doesn’t deal damage but should prioritise keeping the team alive.
      His ultimate (R) can be very potent if timed correctly.
  • Mage fireball alone isn’t very strong, so it’s important to rely on a good rotation of runes to maximise damage output.
  • The Melee character should use their parry and dash to maintain close contact with the boss.
